BY HIRING OUR BINS AND UNDERTAKING OUR SERVICES, YOU ACCEPT THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS SALE AS SET OUT BELOW:

Whilst the bin(s) is in your care, possession and control, you agree not to:

  • Light fires, burn or allow the burning of waste in the bin
  • Place any hazardous waste in the bin under any circumstance
  • Remove, relocate or otherwise move the bin from the delivery address or the placement site, unless we expressly authorize in writing
  • Use the bin for any illegal purpose contravening with these terms and conditions or any law
  • Use the bin for any other purpose other what it is intended for

WHAT IS CONSIDERED AS HAZARDOUS WASTE

Hazardous waste includes but is not limited to chemicals, acids, biological waste, nuclear waste, explosives, needles, syringes, solvents, oil, paint and fluids, fluorescent light bulbs, gas bottles etc.

  • Hook bins have an 8-tonne weight limit. If your bin exceeds this weight, excess weight charges will apply at $250 plus GST per ton
  • Asbestos bins have a weight limit of the corresponding cubic meters of waste. Excess weight charges will apply at $400 plus GST per ton
  • If your bin is found to have asbestos in it, there will be a reload fee of $300 plus GST payable plus the asbestos hire charges as per the pricing displayed on this website
  • If your bin is over the rim, $100 plus GST is payable per cubic meter
  • If we attempt delivery of your bin and it is not possible to leave the bin, a fee of $100 plus GST applies
  • If we attempt to pick up your bin and it is not possible to pick it up, a feeof $100 plus GST applies
  • We will collect the bin at the conclusion of the hire period. We also do same-day pickup with an additional charge of $35 plus GST
  • You may cancel your order, by providing us with at least one business day’s notice prior to the confirmed delivery date and time, by contacting us.
  • A cancellation fee of $120 plus GST applies if you cancel your order within 24 hours of the confirmed delivery date and time
  • Your order is subject to our availability if you place an order and in the unfortunate and rare circumstance that we cannot deliver it on time, we will be in touch with you to organize a refund or reschedule
  • You must ensure that we have free, safe and reasonable access to the delivery address and the site where the bin is to be placed at delivery
  • You must obtain all necessary consents for the access and placement of the bin prior to the confirmed delivery date and time. Huss bins are not liable for any fine issued by your council; if a fine is received it will be payable by the customer. Please be aware that most councils will issue a fine if a skip bin is placed on the road or nature strip. We recommend the bin is placed on the driveway, front lawn or backyard
  • You indemnify us for any claim or liability for trespass to land, public or private nuisance, penalties or fines in order for us to fulfil our obligations under these terms
  • If you are uncertain whetheryou require consent, kindly contact us
  • The loading and unloading of a bin may damage your concrete driveway, pathway, pavement, grass or surface including any underground pipeline or watering system. We do not accept responsibility for any damage caused as a result of our loading and unloading of the bin
  • We reserve the right to refuse to enter a site or deliver the bin, if we believe that the delivery address and/or the placement site are unsafe, or where damage may be caused
  • You are only to place asbestos in asbestos designated bins, otherwise you will incur additional charges
  • It is preferable for you to be present at the delivery in order to guide us to the Placement Site
  • We accept payment by way of credit card or cash
  • We will provide you a valid tax invoice for your payment of hire fees and additional fees (where applicable).
